On November 3, 2024, in celebration of the International Business Women's Group (IBWG) 30th Anniversary and our commitment to His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan’s sustainability initiatives, the IBWG hosted a Mangrove Planting Drive at Umm Yifenah Island, Abu Dhabi. This event marked IBWG's promise to plant 30 mangrove trees in alignment with the UAE's environmental sustainability goals. The team were able to plant 100 mangrove trees collectively.
The event, organized in collaboration with Al Mahara Diving Center, was a special occasion for IBWG sponsors and members to come together, contribute to environmental conservation, and network with like-minded professionals. With a focus on eco-friendly activities and community engagement, attendees helped make a positive impact on the UAE’s drive for sustainability.
